March Recap: A Month That Kept Us on Our Toes
March was full. The good kind of full, where every week had something worth paying attention to.
Here is how it went.
A Meaningful Meeting
Some moments in this work stop you in your tracks.
This month, our founder Devanshi visited Bungalow NY for the first time, after working on the sauce labels for the project.
Being part of that work already meant a lot, because of how much heart Vikas Khanna has poured into building it.
Before going, she wanted to bring something meaningful. So she asked her mom and her mother-in-law to share traditional Kathiawadi recipes that she could pass along to the chef. Recipes that are slowly being forgotten, but still bring so much comfort.
When she asked them to write the recipes down, they were both a little confused. Nothing had exact measurements. Everything was "a little bit of this" and "just enough of that." But that is exactly what made those recipes special. They came from memory and instinct.
Sharing them felt like carrying a small piece of home into a place that already holds so much heart.
Before leaving, Chef Vikas gave her a turtle, a symbol of growth and stability. It felt like a blessing, especially at a stage where she is building something with so much of her own heart behind it.
More on this project when the time is right.
Learning the Edit: An Adobe Premiere Pro Workshop
We spent time this month going back to basics, intentionally.
The team sat down together to learn Adobe Premiere Pro, focusing on the fundamentals of video editing from the ground up. As more of our work moves into video, it felt right to take the time to understand it properly.
We worked through timelines, cuts, pacing, and how small decisions shape how something is felt, not just seen.
Just nice to do this together. Expanding our skills and figuring things out side by side.
Growing the Team
March also meant looking inward at where we are and where we are headed.
We have been spending time meeting people and having conversations, understanding how they think and how they approach their work.
We are taking our time with this. Finding people who feel aligned with how we work matters more than rushing the process.
First Project in the Therapy Space
A new kind of project for us, stepping into a space that requires a more thoughtful and considered approach.
We are in the early stages right now, focusing on research, conversations, and moodboards. This kind of work sets the foundation for everything that follows.
Spending time understanding the context, the people it is for, and how it needs to feel before making any decisions. Looking at tone, language, and how to build something that feels clear, calm, and easy to trust.
Its Actually in New York
Got to see Its Actually on shelves at Pop Up Grocer in New York.
Seeing it on shelves in New York felt different. Walking into a space, spotting it from a distance, and recognizing something you have worked on sitting there among everything else.
Not on a screen, not in progress, but out in the world, in a completely new city. Taking a second to pause, take it in, and just stand there with it for a moment.
Packaging Projects in the Works
Behind the scenes, a few new packaging projects are well underway.
We are deep in the development phase, exploring structure, material, and how something feels once it is held, not just how it looks on screen.
Working through deadlines, sizing, finishes, and the small details that shape how the final piece comes together.
Closing Line
March was a month of building things that are not yet visible. The foundation work. The kind that matters most.
April is shaping up to be when a lot of it surfaces.
Want to work with us on your next project? Whether it is branding, packaging, or something entirely new, we would love to connect.
