What January Looked Like At Gulabi Mango
A look back at how we kicked off 2026 at Gulabi Mango
January has a way of setting the tone for the entire year. And this January? It came in strong.
We opened a new office, launched projects we've been nurturing for months, brought our team together for knowledge-sharing workshops, and watched our clients hit incredible milestones. It's been a month of growth, collaboration, and momentum and we wanted to take a moment to share it all with you.
Here's what January looked like at Gulabi Mango.
We Are Going Offline
This one feels big.
After months of planning, packing, and a lot of back-and-forth, we officially opened our new studio space in Texas.
It's more than just a new address. It's a space designed for collaboration, creativity, and the kind of work that requires both focus and flexibility. A place where our team can come together, spread out design mockups, host client meetings, and honestly, just enjoy being in a space that feels like ours.
Here's to new spaces, new energy, and the growth that made this possible.
Junn is Live
One of our favorite projects from last year officially went live this month, and we couldn't be more proud.
Junn is a brand we've been working on for months from strategy and naming to full visual identity and website design. Watching it come to life and finally make its way into the world? That never gets old.
Every brand has its own story, its own challenges, its own personality. Junn was no exception. But seeing it out there, doing exactly what it was designed to do, making all those revisions, late-night calls, and "what if we tried this?" moments completely worth it.
If you haven't seen it yet, go check it out. We're beyond excited for what's next.
We Held Two Internal Workshops
Growth doesn't just happen externally, it happens within the team, too. And this year, as our vision we said yes to many more workshops, and learning together!
This month, we kicked off a new initiative: internal workshops led by our own team members. Each person takes a turn sharing their expertise, walking the rest of the team through their process, and opening up space for questions, discussion, and learning.
Workshop 1: Branding with Ekta
Our Lead Designer, Ekta, led the first session on her branding process, from client questionnaires and competitive analysis to keyword mining, moodboards, color palettes, logo design, and typography.
It was a behind-the-scenes look at how she approaches every branding project with intention and strategy. For the team, it was a chance to see the "why" behind every design decision and understand how all the pieces come together to create cohesive, meaningful brands.
(If you missed it, we turned this workshop into a blog post and carousel go check it out on our site.)
Workshop 2: Social Media Strategy with Ritika
Next up, our Social Media Manager, Ritika, walked us through her approach to building and managing social media strategies for multiple clients.
From content planning and platform-specific tactics to studying algorithm, and measuring what's actually working, she broke down how she keeps everything running smoothly, even when juggling several brands at once.
These workshops aren't just about sharing knowledge. They're about creating a culture where everyone's expertise is valued, where we're constantly learning from each other, and where collaboration is at the center of everything we do.
We Helped Pirq With Expo West Booth Activation
This month, we partnered with Pirq to develop the design direction for their upcoming Expo West booth.
The vision was a retro-inspired diner aesthetic that's fun, bold, and impossible to walk past. We worked closely with the Pirq team to craft a visual concept that captures their brand personality while creating an experience that feels nostalgic yet fresh.
From mood boards to design specs, we helped translate Pirq's energy into a physical space that invites people in, makes them want to stay, and leaves a lasting impression.
Expo West booths are all about stopping traffic and starting conversations. We're excited to see this come to life and watch people experience Pirq in a whole new way.
We Started Our Own Newsletter
For a while now, we've been creating content, blogs, carousels, behind-the-scenes peeks, but we realized we wanted a more direct way to connect with our community. A space where we could share what we're working on, what we're thinking about, and what we're learning along the way.
So this month, we officially launched the Gulabi Mango newsletter.
Expect monthly recaps like this one, insights on branding and design, project spotlights, and maybe the occasional hot take on the state of social media. We're keeping it real, keeping it useful, and keeping it human.
If you're reading this in your inbox, thank you for being here. If you're reading this on the blog, subscribe here so you don't miss the next one.
One of Our Clients Landed at Pop Up Grocer
Big news for one of our clients: Its Actually is now available at Pop Up Grocer.
If you're not familiar, Pop Up Grocer is a curated retail experience that spotlights emerging food and beverage brands. Getting shelf space there? That's a big deal.
We've been working with Its Actually on branding, packaging, social strategy, and storytelling, so seeing their broths on those shelves feels like a shared win.
Watching our clients grow, reach new audiences, and hit milestones like this is genuinely one of the best parts of what we do.
What's Ahead for February
January set the pace. Now we're carrying that momentum forward.
We have new projects launching, more workshops planned, and a few exciting collaborations in the works that we can't wait to share.
But for now, we're taking a moment to pause, reflect, and appreciate everything that came together this month.
Thank you to our clients, our collaborators, and everyone who's been part of the Gulabi Mango journey so far. Here's to the rest of 2026.
